Rob Riley spent 32 years with the Milwaukee Police Department which included 22 years as a major crimes detective and 7 years as an undercover narcotics agent. Writing and reading have been lifelong passions, and he began by writing short stories more than thirty years ago. Of course, police work provided both the insight and inspiration for creating private investigator Jack Blancherd, the main charcter of his series mysteries. Rob lives with his wife, Mary Lynne, in southeastern Wisconsin.
