Macavity Award Winners for 2015; Down & Out Books Publishes Best Mystery Short Story

Congratulations to Craig Faustus Buck for winning a Macavity Award for Best Mystery Short Story for “Honeymoon Sweet”, which was included in the Bouchercon 2014 anthology Murder at the Beach, published by Down & Out Books!

Other winners announced last night are:

Best Mystery Novel: Alex Marwood, The Killer Next Door (Penguin Books);

Best First Mystery Novel: Julia Dahl, Invisible City (Minotaur Books);

Best Mystery-Related Non-Fiction: Hank Phillippi Ryan, editor, Writes of Passage — Adventures on the Writer’s Journey (Henery Press); and

Sue Feder Historical Mystery Award: Catriona McPherson: A Deadly Measure of Brimstone (Minotaur Books).
